Meeting people online can be dangerous Mary. I say the best place to meet is church, a bowling alley or an AA Meeting.

MARY - There can be any number of reasons he doesn't want to meet you.

He may be nothing like the persona you've been talking to online.

His wife might not want him to go.

He may be on parole.

These responses are not meant to be funny. Unfortunately there are a great deal of predators and they use the internet to get victims. You hear about the physical victims but there are emotional victims as well.

Be assured that his refusal to meet you is no reflection of you. The problem lies with him. Please don't take his refusal to heart. Most likely if he doesn't want to meet you, you're better off not meeting him.

Anyone, men or women, must be very cautious when meeting anyone they met online. Always insist on a public meeting place and have a friend call you sometime during the meeting.

Thanks Heckler, but I tried church and everyone kept shhhhhhhing me. I tried the bowling alley, struck out and as for AA, all they talked about was cars.
