As a memorial to Fez I made an early new year's resolution to get back into shape so that I don't share his fate.

I am posting about it here to force myself to give feedback and encourage others to join in. I also know that other board members have already had success doing this.

My goal is to lose 12.5 pounds and run around the park once by the end of the year.

Anyone care to join me?

Kobe Beef Cows are fed a diet enriched with beer and massaged lovingly by attendants in Kobe, Hyogo, Japan.
If they throw in a happy ending, sign me up.

You've inspired me, man! What a reasonable yet very difficult goal. I'm going to try to do the same--except I'll have to run around the park here in my town in Maryland. Wish I could join you there in NYC.
Good luck!

I'm with you. My goal is to lose five pounds by 12/15 and start running semi-regularly again, which means twice a week. My weekends are spent doing stuff outdoors so I figure that makes up for the rest of the running.

Count me in. I've got bad knees so I won't be runing but I needed a reason to get back on my bike. I'll do my part down here in NC.

I've been hiking every morning about 4 miles which includes a killer hill. I'd like to drop 5 - 10 lbs by the end of Dec.

unfortunately im about to go into reverse. i can run the park with ease right now. but between a mounting work load and the crappy winter, it could get bad. usually i say no excuses, but for the next few months it may have to be...
-I'll log off now, and listen to your
response.-
