Enough with Christmas music on the radio. Enough. Argh, I can't fucking stand it. I understand people are nostalgic for the innocence of thier youth, when Christmas wasn't as commercial a holiday as it is today, when it was about family and fun. I UNDERSTAND. WHY ALL DAY THOUGH? HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU FUCKING HAVE TO HEAR JINGLE BELLS AND LET IT SNOW AND FROSTY THE SNOWMAN & HARK THE HERALD ANGEL SINGS & THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS & SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN & RUDOLPH THE REDNOSE REINDEER & OH COME ALL YE ANGELS & ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON............

What's even more FUCKING unbearable are the "hip", "modern" versions of old christmas songs, set to a "funky" new beat or remixed in an urban hip hop style. Fucking die whoever thought of that.

I remember the old days where they really waited till like the last week before XMas to release all the songs. I agree releasing them so soon kills the joy of the holiday. I can only imagine what the regular radio stations are like, me personally I am almost always listening to Squizz, Ethel, Fred, and Lucy. So for me XMas is Xmas again. I am not soiled by the bombardment of holiday songs.

Whats worse is MY CHRISTMAS RECORD COLLECTION Is bigger than theirs, and they get their shit free.

It's
literally about the same 30 songs, played day and night, over and over.
And they rarely do any different versions of the same songs. Dont get
me wrong, each one is great and probably the best version of that song,
but 5 times a day every day for a month is monotonous. MIX IT UP
ASSHOLES. And they wonder why radio is dying.

I was kinda being a wise ass before. I actually do agree with Jeff to an extent. I am personally pissed that XM changed channel 82 to Christmas music. I actually liked the channel and on the few occasions I turn 202 off, 82 was one of the channels I checked.

What's even worse is if your favorite FM channel changes to All Christmas. I know 102.7 was terrible after O&A and R&F left, but lets just say you liked that station's music. All of a sudden they decided to change to ALL CHRISTMAS ALL THE TIME until like New Years. Now THAT is fucking gay.

I have no problem with Christmas. I really like certian music. Like Jeff said, the "modern" version of old songs they jazz up are fucking terrible. It just seems to be starting earlier and earlier each year. How about December 1st at the EARLIEST.

A station in Boston (magic 106.7) has been non-stop Christmas music since Thanksgiving. I used to enjoy the soft rock, now it's shitty cover Christmas songs.
I can deal with it in small doses, as long as I NEVER hear Felice Navidad. I really despise that song.

beautiful. But must be played on Christmas eve or day. Slow and mellow,
great way to wind up the holiday.
