I hate to say but these songs were REALLY hacky and REALLY unfunny.That is pretty much the worst compliment you can give to someone who is selling something like this but I found the two songs they played yesterday unlistenable.Ron must owe Billy money becuase he had no problem ripping in to him when he came to the 12 step issue, but then didn't crack one joke about how bad these songs are.  Like a light switch he was.

Billy I love ya and best of luck but holy s, that f'n 12 days of Christmas song was haunting my dreams as it played during the replay.  I awoke at the horrow of realizing my nightmares were actually coming true.  What in gods name are they saying at the "5 golden rings" part. Holy Christ I wanted to put my head through my XM to make it stop.

dearest Coach Please learn before you speak.  that song of ours has been around for years.  It was played back inthe ONA days on their show on WNEW, so you do the math.  I wasn't even hooked up with Ron and fez yet.as a matter of fact, Ron and Fez, years ago had the original version of this Cd, not even close to what it is today when they were doing overnights and they mention from time to time, how I came in the middle of the night and brought it to them.  It was and still is the firt track on that Cd.  I love the uninformed...go back to WB It was written and recorded, I'd say 4-5 years ago and recently redone for this CD.  The original was sold to a comedy service.so before you go throwing around accusations, please know what you are talking about.  You may not like it, fine.  You may say I suck...fine.  don't call me a thief without knowing what you are talking about. Plus anyone who has ever seen Paul live has seen it also.  so go ahead bash me if you like, the fucking song is mine and its funny  fuck you very much staples Don't ever call me a thief, one thing I dont do is steal...you got the wrong guy for that

Dear Turdchopper #1-You do not like the Cd...fine, I will not put you down for one #2 - I truly appreciate how much of an ONA fan you are as I am and have been for years #3 - A little history for you, just in case you haven't been lucky enough to have been a listener for a long time.  Years ago,when I was known as "Fat Guy", ONA used to play a  lot of our songs as well as Brother Joe's.  somewhere in that time at WNEW, somebody sent ONA a video. which the boys called the 'century Sex video".  It was a 100 year old woman in a porn video.  that was the inspiration for the song, when I was a guest on Opie and Anthony, and knew Brother Joe very well.So, I hope this little bit of history explains the ridiculous idea that I would ever do such a thing as you accused me of, or as i would like to refer to it as 'Career Suicide'.  That would be ripping off Anthony's brother.I hope you have a great Holiday and if doubt this story, please by all means check it out with WB or archived shows.  so, if there is any other thing you would care to know please ask,.  Oh yes, the Rusty Trombone was our first song on ONA.  They asked for songs about it and ours was the 'winner' i guess you'd say.  that is how our association with Opie and Anthony began.Those who know, are the ones who know!so for those of you who do not care for me or the Cd, I bid you nothing but the best of everything this Holiday season and New Year.  For all of you who have enjoyed it and bought it, I say thank you and all the best to you also. this is a message board.  We have fun here.  Unfortunately not everyone knows a lot of the past or have been around as long as others.  Sometimes a little background is good.and the idea of a Mexican person being the subject of this song is not that hard to figure out.  Felis Navidad StaplesOh and how does a guy knocking up a girl song have anything in common with the police taking a car away?  Ahhh, both mexican, I get it  <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v303/Kevin2700/STAPLES2.jpg" border="0" /> http://www.reelact.com/billystaples

There was a time not long ago when I was begging Billy to come back on the show,and now see what happens.????..you've started an uproar that will last for years every time these songs are replayed. I believe that in the heat of the moment Billy lashed out, He felt cornered, I mean he called in to talk to the boys, maybe plug the album and was faced with a verbal bashing.. things turned fast. Billy is a nice guy overall and might have overreacted , perhaps owing Ronnie an apology.. we dont want this to turn into a FEZZIE and MIKEY D situation. Billy, make nice sooner than later. I feel for ya, the cd is Fun, I really like a few of the songs.. but you cant defend it to everyone who says bad things about it.. not every one will love everything, be happy with the ones who like it :) I like it. Remember Ronnie andFezzie are your friends.. all others come and go, R&F remain eternal. Best of luck with the cd :)

Maybe it's just me, but Billy just didn't sound like Billy today.
