Does anyone use a keyboard that has keys that light up so you can type in a dark room?  If so, what brand do you use and where did you get it and how much was it, etc?Im shopping and need help!

Dude, don't do it.  Typing on that will just make you lazy.  Stick with the regular one.  It'll make you a better typer.

Id just hit Best Buy or CompUSA and look at a few.  You'll find illuminated keyboards with different media controls on it, I reckon.

I went to Microcenter, and they didnt have anything like I wanted.  I want to have volume control etc. and be able to type in the dark.  Help!

I enjoyed the backlit aspect of the Logitech, but the layout with the keys and the extra keys to the left of the keyboard was a major irritation to me.  I saw a Saitek Eclipse keyboard on Overstock.com for like $30 less, and it has a red back lit keyboard!  Looks cool and the keys look bigger and no extra fancy buttons, so I returned the G15 and ordered the Saitek.  The red almost looks evil!! <img height="325" src="http://images.overstock.com/f/102/3117/8h/www.overstock.com/images/products/3/L10088377.jpg" width="315" border="0" />This image below is if it had the blue backlight, but I am getting the red one.  They say red is better for your eyes at night.<img height="359" src="http://www.chillblast.com/images//d_2982.jpg" width="473" border="0" />

The keyboard finally came in!  Its awesome.  I feels great to type on it and looks like glowing charcoal if the room is pitch black.

In my day we had to use the light from the screen in order to see our keyboards in the dark. Thats the way it was and we LIKED it! But seriously, I'm doing that right now, and its just fine. Kids today.

seriously, I'm doing that right now, and its just fine. Kids today.Does your keyboard go clink clink after every letter you type? http://www.seds.org/~spider/ps2/ps77_14.jpg I still have one of these keyboards and I love hearing confirmation for every key I type... I don't think I'd be able to bear it all day, though!!
