I will put what I read in white text, MAJOR SPOILERS if true:

Jean Gray kills Cyclops. Magneto and Professor X are also killed, I think by Jean Gray. Mystique loses her powers as she is "cured" The plot is very similar to both previous films, especially the last one, centered around a plot to "cure" all mutants of their mutant powers. And a love story sparks between Wolverine and Storm. There's more awfulness, I'll post if I can remember,

I read somewhere else that that script was supposedly a fake
though. I think that the funeral scene in the trailer could be
for Jean Grey, at the beginning of the movie when they think she is
dead.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." [ Theodore Roosevelt ]

Well, it's not that, it's, SPOILERS AHEAD:

The script review described a scene where Magento rips apart the Golden gate Bridge, which was in the trailer. It said that Cyclops went to Alkali Lake and found Jean Grey there and that's where she kills him, and Cyclops is at Alkali Lake in the trailer. The script review describes some Danger Room scenario where the X-Men are in a World War II setting, and that looks like its in the trailer. The script review describes Mystique being caught by the government and being cured of her mutant powers, and there's a scene in the trailer where it looks like Mystique has been captured. And the scene with Angel in the trailer looks a lot like the ending of the Angel sequence descirbed in the script review.

Well, if anyone freeze frame the trailer, you can see the guy playing Juggernaut. For a long time, I thought to create Juggernaut, he would have to be CGI.

Unfortunately, he's not. I don't mind the actor, but Juggernaut is one of my favorite villians in the X-men comics, and to me, they did not do Juggernaut justice. He's suppose to be monster (in size I mean), almost the size of a troll in Lord of the Rings, but he's not. UGH!!

And the face of the helmet looks very similar to magneto's mask.

Why does hollywood studios always have to f**k s**t up with comic book movies. And don't get me started with that script storyline. UGH!!!

Will I see movie, yes, with reserved judgement of course, but I'm very much afraid of what the movie will turn out. I hope I'm wrong.

Didn't AICN give most, if not all of the "script details" from the
LotR movies that never made it into the final movies? (arwen joining
the fellowship, Eyown-Faramir wedding scene, off the top of my head)
They're like the Fox news of geekdom, I'd never trust anything they
"report" on that site.

That said, I'm a little worried that Storm
has as much trailer-time as Wolverine. it would be a MAJOR
dissapointment if they really blew things up after the great job the
second movie did, and made the franchise into "The Hugh Jackman and
Halle Berry show"

On the other hand, the X-Men comics, in the past 5 years,
managed to destroy thier OWN continuity (thank you Grant Morrison) so I
wouldn't be surprised to see the X-Men movies go thier own way with
continuity.

Keep in mind that doing the REAL version of Dark
Phoenix, with the Hellfire club and the Imperial Guard would take about
10 movies worth of backstory to explain, then another 10 movies to
subsequently explain Maddy Prior, Sinister, Inferno, Magik, Cable,
Stryfe, the Askani and Apocalypse, and then finally flush it all down
the toilet like in the comics.

EDIT:
I just read the AICN article, and it's from LAST JUNE!! The trailer may
match up a bit, but we all know how unused scenes can make the trailer,
plus the movie's still 6 months away, with reshoots and CG, I still
don't buy the script "leaked" on Mr Knowles (achem) distinguished
site.

You can't do a movie on the Dark Phoenix saga the way it was portrayed in the comics. So they had to do a variation no matter what. Look at the '90s animated series which did the saga somewhat close to the comics version (but still a variation) and it took five episodes (approx. 2 hrs w/o commercials) to introduce the Shiar and Jean turning into Phoenix, and another 4 episodes much later in the season to do the Dark Phoenix story (approx. 1 1/2).

Plus, with the movies, they've always pushed the comparison of mutants and the Xavier/Magneto view close to the racial issues in this country and King/Macolm X views. They have to continue this theme in this movie and there really was no part of that at all in the original Dark Phoenix saga.

Without a doubt all Xmen comics are the most conveluted stories ever written, I stopped reading the Comics about 1 year after the Jim Lee X-men series started, There were plot threads froms the mid 80's that were never resolved and the lts introduce a new Mutant every other Week (Bishop, Cable, Gambit) crap really pissed me off

The Fact that they were able to get 2 (so far) pretty good movies with pretty tight plots and still keep the spirit of the original X-men comics gives me hope for the next movie
Nazi cows are on the loose

The X-Men comic books lost me a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago; in the 80s I bought into the hype, but when I met Claremont in Atlanta and saw how paranoid and proprietery he was over the characters, I began to lose serious interest. When they brought Jean back, however, I was pretty well done.

The movies, for me have been hit and miss - the second movie I thought was really solid, and maybe one of the best comic book movies ever done. The first one, though, was really disappointing, with only half the characters fleshed out. I am most concerned about the change in director on this one - the spoilers don't really bother me that much - but all in all the trailer looks really good.

I'd rather have hope in my soul than soap in my hole...

The most interesting thing about the Magneto movie is that Ian McKellen is playing the young Magneto. The process involves no make up, I was reading this in an interview with McKellen earlier this week, what they do is he performs as is, then they take footage of him as young man or a picture or something and superimpose it over his face.

My first thought when hearing this was that awful scene in Gladiator when, after Oliver Reed died during filming, they had to do the same thing for his character. It looked really, really bad. But my fears were somewhat assuaged when McKellen said that there was a scene in X3 where they use this technology to make both he and Patrick Stewart look younger for a backstory bit with Magneto and Xavier. In fact he said something about the process removing all the age lines and wrinkles and shit from their faces and making them look too young. He seems to be very up about it, so maybe the technology has advanced to the point where it's actually a legit possibility.

I guess it won't be long before we're gonna see a film with Harrison Ford, John Wayne, Steve McQueen, and Errol Flynn all in their prime and we can find out who the best action star really is.
