I still can't believe it happened. it was such a quick year as I
remember everything I was doing leading up to and all day after. Even
driving to the boonies to hear the Tribute Show, EXCELLENT Tribute Show
that Eddie Trunk put together I still have that show with all of the
tears and laughs just echo in my head.

Damn.

You're music will live forever my friend and as the ink that graces my skin as a tribute does also.

One
of the last surviving video outlets on MTV 2, Headbanger's Ball, will
have a tribute show on Saturday night. Vinnie Paul will be interviewed.
Should be pretty cool to check out.
"Eh.. Coldplay was good but it started to all sound the same after awhile, kind of like most death metal bands."

I'm really rather disappointed that this thread didn't go anywhere.

I guess it is just a few of us who really appreciated Darrell as a great musician, and a great guy!

I'm listening to a collection of Pantera covers right now.

Cat Scratch Fever is fucking dead on!!

And, Phil not withstanding, "Pantallica" with Jason Newstead, doing "Seek and Destroy" is still blowing me away!

Cheers Darrell!
so does that mean that it was "THE ORANGE BOWL OF FAILURE?" Staples See The Cruising Vessel Check out silentpix.com.
