In January AOL and Warner Brothers television are going to be offering a pretty impressive back log of television shows online - some that have been released on DVD, and some that have not yet.

Here's some of the titles: Babylon 5, Perfect Strangers, Lois and Clark, Le Femme Nikita, Hanging with Mr. Cooper, Briscoe County Jr, Kung Fu, Pinky and the Brain, Growing Pains, Eight Is Enough, Maverick, Alice, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Sisters, F Troop, Chico and the Man, Wonder Woman, Welcome Back Kotter, Spenser For Hire, Dark Justice, Hunter, The FBI, Freddy's Nightmares, Head of the Class, Falcon Crest, Fugitive. And some more.

Not really a whole lot there I'd want to see, and I have no idea how this is suppose to work (streaming vs. download?), but it's very intriguing, and may open the door to more tv on demand. Are we within 10 years of being able to access ANY television show any time we want it - and what about movies? And is this really a good thing??

Small Wonder & Mr. Belvedere at any time of the day? NOT YET, BUT Oh - say it's so ONE DAY!

http://television.aol.com/in2tv

Kung Fu is about the only one on that list I'd be remotely interested in seeing and I wouldn't pay for it.

[/quote]
I think it was an anthology kind of show, similar to "The Twilight Zone." Except instead of Rod Serling hosting things, there was Freddy. I think that's what the hook was - I don't remember watching it. In the mid-late 1980s there was a boom of these kind of shows again - Spielberg's Amazing Stories, revamped versions of Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Monsters, Freddy and even one that used the Friday the 13th name, even though I think it's connection to the movies was slim, if at all - no Jason.
I'd rather have hope in my soul than soap in my hole...

Curt nailed the Freddy series. The only eps worth watching were the few that actually had Freddy as part of the story, and not just the host.
