My wife and I have decide to take most of Christmas off this year, No tree or decorating the house and no presents for each other. We will be still sending Christmas cards and sending a few gifts to family members.

The constant reporting on Christmas spending in news reports in the past years annoys the shit out of me as well as seeing Christmas decorations in shops starting in September and annoying Last minute christmas ads for different shops on the radio and TV proclaiming lowest prices of the season. Enough is enough were more then just consumers, Im not in any way religious and could care less about keeping the Christ in Christmas, But the whole, good will towards your fellow man and peace on Earth ideas are good ones and need to be moved back to to forefront as the reason for the season.

............
Nazi cows are on the loose

Think about this. Christmas takes up over 10% of the calendar year. Macy's in White Plains had their Christmas department set up right before Hallaween. Disgusting. But for this point I'll keep the official starting date as the Sat. before Thanksgiving, 11/19 (I saw Santa Claus with kids on his lap at the Westchester mall on this day). Counting the days from then until January 5, Three Kings Day, the 12th Day of Christmas, that's 48 days. 48/365 = 13.15%! Truly Disturbing. Any guesses on when it'll start on July 5?

I got my tree today. This somehow led to my wife not talking to me. 'Tis the season.
Get me. I'm givin' out wings.

This is the first Christmas in several years that I'm actually excited about. I can't wait for my guy to open his presents, and more importantly, to open mine
