<p>As reported on DCRTV</p><p><strong><font color="#0000ff">D&amp;M Lose Tampa</font></strong> - 12/19 - WJFK-FM's nationally syndicated Don and Mike kiss their Tampa station goodbye. WBZZ, an AMer in the Florida city, will drop its talk format on 1/1 to simulcast a country FMer. WBZZ also carried Howard Stern, who jumps to Sirius Satellite Radio in 2006.....<br /></p><p>Stern is done so they dump D&amp;M and flip the entire format, along with Fez's buddays.</p><p>Were they in town for the CMA's?&nbsp; Were they in town to kiss E. Lo's arse.</p><p>YOU DECIDE.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Not the first time D&amp;M or The Sports Chix have been dumped from Tampa radio, and likely not the last. Nature of the beast.</p><p>This was also the station in Florida that R&amp;F were briefly heard in 2004 and a little in 2005, but when Baltimore's Live 105 dumped them, they pulled the plug in Tampa too.</p><p>Odds are everyone knew this flip was coming as early as last January (including R&amp;F, D&amp;M and the Chix); very possible they were in NYC to scope out the lay of the land.</p><em>I'd rather have hope in my soul than soap in my hole...</em>
