So the big morning is over, anyone get any noteable gifts?  For me it's always stuff I dont expect.  This year favorites were definitely a Camp Anawanna t-shirt from brother, and a Tony Montana talking action figure from my dad.

I got black jeans, some kick ass candy from a local place that destroys all other candy makers, a couple shirts and some new Timberland boots among other small things from my parents.  Got some headphones, an iPod case and some patchouli oil amother other small things from my band.  Got a gift certificate to Guitar Center from my buddy Grim Sanity and a Starbucks holiday gift set from his ladyfriend.Still waiting to give my grandma the toaster she wanted and to get the gifts she got for me.  A few other family members will probably give me things in the coming week as they come to visit my grandma who lives downstairs in our 2 family house.I'm actually very content as far as material possessions.  I want for nothing, really.  I consider myself VERY lucky and try to spread the wealth and good cheer to others who don't have it as easy as me.  The best part about the holidays is just the peace and quiet I can enjoy around my house.  Can't wrap that but I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

And I fucking forgot about my FAVORITE present!  My grandma bought me a beautiful 17" Zildjian Z Custom crash cymbal!  Fucking awesome.  Plus she got me some sticks while I was in the store.  Buy 1 pair get 11 free.  They're basically no name beater sticks, but I destroy sticks so they're nice to have around.

thats a cool fucking grandma...got a PSPsome clothes from my mom (i DID used to live with her, she's seen how i dress...not sure what she was thinking. she gave me a tan t shirt, medium no less, with a chocolate velvet jimi hendrix on the front)everyone took the easy way out and got me poker books...so now i have about 9 books to read about a game i already know how to play. the wife and i exchange gifts about a week early. (we've been doing it for a few years b/c it became tradition when she was going into the hospital to have our son. poor kid's birthday is the day after christmas.) she's the only one that gets me cool shit. although she bought me about 8 games for my XBOX 360 which i don't have and i've since taken my name off the list. so i'll return those and get a bunch of shit for the PSP.

restaurant gift cards for my parents' annual anniversary vacation, and
tickets to "Jersey Boys".  (ironic coming from me, no?)Dad got: A myfi, and I'll be paying for his sub on my family plan. Brother
got: A Dale Earndhardt Jr. Fleece, some chocolate covered twinkies (we
used to be chocodile fiends back in the day. Hostess doesn't make them
anymore, but Old Monmouth Candies in Freehold does.  So I got
hooked up), the Beavis and Butthead Mike Judge collection DVD, "A Week
In The Life Of NASCAR", and some golfballs. Sister in Law got: Toby Keith's "Honky Tonk University", a book, and an Old Navy Gift Card to use for maternity clothes.Nieces also got Old Navy Gift Cards, along with Dora the Explorer stuff, toys, and dolls.What I got:

I forgot about the rest of my loot...  One of my brothers gave me a 30 dollar Circuit City gift card (that came w/ a nifty gadget. You press it, and it has my brother playing me a Christmas song on the guitar), and my other brother gave me a black & white print of a photo that my cousin took. My cousin is a very respected photographer and his prints aren't cheap.Best of all... I have all 3 of my kids here (instead of just the one that lives with me).

I got 3 shirts that either wont fit or look good on me. A miniature record player ornamant for some reason.  A wooden puzzle, and a plastic noise maker/lolly pop/whistle. And a check for $100.00 The money is the only thing I actually have a need for.  I gave out several gift cards for Khols and Target and Game Stop gift cards. I also gave an auto digital compass for my sister. A gift card for my parents to go to an expensive resturant.

The best thing I got was a "WOW! I DONT HAVE ANY OF THESE!!!!" From
my nephew Joey when I gave him a 3 pack of playstation games. Clothes,
George Carlin CD and tapes, 4 Jazz compilations of some of my favorite
artists plus the Ken Burns set, a new hard drive and RAM from my
Brother, a big check from my Dad, A very nice (and unexpected) $100
Target gift card for babysitting one of my puppies. 
I was very happy with the gifts I GAVE for a change this year.
Gave a 10 pack of Baby Einstien to my niece Ava (Her mom said she only
already had one of them!), A DVD collection of Superbowls 1-30 (not
highlights, the full games), A HEPA air filter for my Dad's workshop,
all of which were well recieved by the folks who got them. I gave my
Brother and his wife tickets to see Billy Joel @ MSG which he was
absolutely thrilled with!And it was really nice to see the
family plus my Uncle and his kids all together for the holidays. We
always have a good time together.

My MOMMY loves me enough to know that I don't want her to go kill herself at a dumb mall just to get a stupid case for my xm2go, or cell phone, or mp3 player, or whatever.All the little kids get everything and the adults pretty much give some wine and picture frames with those same youngins'.  We all know that if we need/want something we can just go out and buy it ourselves at any point.Makes christmas a million times better.  No silly presents, just good food, wine, beer, music, and people.

I got a PSP and a new set of Taylor Made RAC Irons (3 through PW). Plus a sweet Bose speaker that I can hook up to my iPod. Christmas was great present wise, just wish some things in my life were a little better.

Here's the goodies I got...From work: 4 bottles of wine, which include 1 bottle of Norton's Ridge (which I've heard is very good), and a bottle of Chianti Ruffino Classico. Plus a $30 gift card to Stew Leonard's Wine Shop. From the fam: A $25 Target Gift Card from SR71 and soaps from Trader Joes. A $30 Best Buy card, a Homer Simpson talking bobblehead and some clothes from my sisters. Some clothes from my mom, and a check for $100. From Amy (the best of all): I got a $100 gift card to Men's Warehouse, plus a back massager for the chair. She's so great!Plus her mom and family got me various stuffs like colognes, cookies, and candies.I did pretty well.

I got some great box sets: Nuggets, original artyfacts from the first psychedelic era 1965-1968; Nuggets II, original artyfacts from the british empire and beyond; and Loud Fast & Out of Control, vintage 50s rock. These were my favorite gifts. Also got some assorted booze which is always cool.
