We're coming to the end of 2005 and like most folks, I haven't accomplished (for the most part) what I said I would.  It is in that spirit that I would like to address what I would like to accomplish in the new year about to arrive.1. Lose a lot of weight.  More than 50 lbs if possible.2. Finally make the effort to meet Ron & Fez, say hi to them in-studio if possible.3. Succeed at work by working harder and applying myself more.That and about 75 more things but those are the ones that come to mind. How bout you?

At the risk of sounding too deep, I've made my resolution a simple one that's not very easy to attain - contentment.

With the passing of each year I realize more and more the folly in chasing materialistic things. Such behavior can never lead to satisfaction, because there will always be more things to desire.

I'm going to try like hell to quell my fiercely competitive nature and not take for granted the simple pleasures and blessings in my life.

I didn't plan on a so called resolution, but tonight I noticed how bad I was eating again. I used to be around 220(maybe more), now I'm around 180. I'm done with soda now, I had been drinking diet for the last couple of years, poured out my open bottles and put away the ones not opened. Gonna eat better and less starting, well right now I suppose.It's gonna be hard, but it needs to be done. Over the holidays I saw some of my family I hadn't seen in a couple of years and they were all telling me how good I looked, made me feel pretty fucking good, but I still need to keep going.

It didn't start out as a resolution but New Year's Eve sort of turned it into a necessity- stop drinking for at least 2 months... come March, I'll re-evaluate myself, and decide if I can have a drink with dinner or something.. but gotta do whatcha gotta do...
