Most of my friends are getting married in the next few months.

My
two closest friends are getting married in March and October, and I've
been confused on what to spend on them for wedding gifts.

For
the bridal shower for the March wedding, I got a 100 dollar
present. I was planning to get them an additional set of presents
for 100 bucks plus some cash at the actual wedding.

Is that lowballing?

I've never been to a wedding. The only close friend or family member that has gotten married was my sister, and that was in Vegas. My buddy just got engaged, so I get to be in that one. Gotta get something nice.

Make sure you pay them with a check, and write on it, "To be refunded on divorce."

They are actually two
kids from incredibly stable families, and have been dating for over 5
years. I'm pretty sure this is love.

(The other one getting married has been dating for 10+ years, since they were in high school)
