What do YOU use your cell phone for?

Aside from obviously using it as a phone, what other features do you often use your cell phone for?

Outside of the actual phone, I probably kill down time with some games like poker.  Yet I do also use it for texts, a flashlight (that's fucking funny as I thought I was the only one) and reminder/alarm.

I use mine as a phone. I have a camera. I don't play video games. I'm not interested in messaging, unless I'm on my comp. My phone is a phone.

<p>I need to seriously cut down on my text messages.</p><p>I have sent and recieved about 1070 since December 23rd.&nbsp; Oy.&nbsp; Had to jump up to the damn $20 a month text message plan to avoid further charges on this months bill.<br /></p>

<p>I have a Tracfone so I pay for minutes as I go.&nbsp; I don't turn the thing on unless I am making an outgoing call.&nbsp; It came in REAL handy the night the only belt my compact car has broke up in Sussex county, even though the tow service was slow.</p><p>It does have voicemail but people know my phone isn't a place to normally reach me.</p>

Since then I just listen on delay with my iPod. So now I only use my phone as a phone. I don't listen to FM anymore.</font></p>

i use it as my back up alarm cuz i always hit the snooze button or the off button on my regular alrm clock with out even waking up. on the phone i have to actually open my eyes, look for it, flip it open, scroll down and turn it off. no getting out of work for me!!

I use mine for the mostly (daily) for the alarm clock, the calender, text and as a flashlight.&nbsp; Camera rarely.&nbsp; Web rarely.

<p>Kidnapping. There's been four groups of tourists kidnapped here in the last two months. They have all been treated to traditional tribal kidnapping hospitality - qat chews, freshly slaughtered lamb dinners, toilet paper,&nbsp;music and dancing&nbsp;and smoking&nbsp;sheeshas; that sort of thing - and they've all been allowed to keep and use their cell phones. So I keep mine with me so I can call my friends and tell them I'm being held hostage, and I'm OK, but I gotta go because it's my turn under the limbo stick.</p><p>In fact, someone post the phone number of the show and the times it's on, and IF I'm lucky enough to get kidnapped I'll call in a spy alert.</p><p>Other than that, the thing I need the flashlight more than the phone itself because the power goes out almost every night. Only problem is I have to call it a fucking &quot;torch&quot; because no Europeans know what a flashlight is. I'm not fucking chasing Frankenstein around with it! </p>
