Though I happen to mostly use a Nikon digital, it's sad that the film cameras will be going away.

Nikon To Stop Making Film Cameras

I've owned at least 6 Nikon film cameras in the past, and I loved them all.

New models come out, and sometimes you need more than one camera at a time.

I stopped using cameras and began relying upon my memory to record visual events.

Tall James' mind works in a frighteningly insane way.

I love it.

Thanks for my laugh of the day, big guy.

Go ahead and get the Nikon (they predict they'll all be gone by Summer), and hope it lasts like most Nikons do.

By the way... what's all this talk of home movies? Who the fuck makes home movies with 35mm still cameras. The joke failed. And stalking? Everyone knows you use digital for stalking. Less noice and more privacy (no photo labs).

I prefer film photos to digital...I think they capture shades and subtle nuances better.

Digital always seems to fill in the shadows

As long as there is an Ebay I wouldn't worry about parts for cameras. More importantly will be a lack of places to develop film. That's going to be a sad day.

*Drives his manual transmission car to the record shop to pick up some vinyl*

Obsolete? What are you talking about?
