Hey all. My name is Fred and I live on Long Island. I've been a Ron and Fez fan since the WNEW days and I'm stoked that they are on XM. O and A are always bitching about the lack of adverts for their show but what about Ron and Fez? Outside of the XM homepage I havent seen or heard a single ad that includes the R and F show. Bastards. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and air my small gripe. Adios.

Ron and Fez have NEVER really had advertising.

Their best strengths are in viral marketing and word of mouth, along with having an O&A lead-in.

Imagine Ron and Fez in a whacky TV commercial? Blech. LIke a Scott and Todd spot but with our Buddays.
I'd stop listening if they did that. They're so much better than that.

Maybe Ron&Fez/O&A could do some commercials like Imus&Pete Franklin did when WFAN first started.

To this day if I'm chillin' wherever and for whatever reason O and A comes up the people are always shocked when I tell them that O and A are back with a show at XM. I think O and A and High Voltage 202 are a very low priority to XM. O and A would never admit it (admit being a low priority) but come on the show gets absolutely no support whatsoever from it's employer which speaks volumes in my opinion.

I live in North Jersey and spend alot of time in the city so trust me when I tell you this show and channel (202) gets absolutely no push or support. Hell, people are oblivious to the mere existence.

What does that say about the product, seriously?

If R&F were sex symbols like O&A then they'd get more heat in ads.But it's hard to sell heart attacks,so AARP isn't giving them the time of day.Mikey D and Perry are sex symbols, but they didn't get hired.Interns alone don't make good radio, and even great guests alone don't make good radio. Not being a football fan ever in my life makes the betting a real yawnfest......moneytalk.It's like counting pennies on the radio.

I don't know if you're talking about non-XM advertizing, but I've definetly heard commercials on Fox Sports and the Comedy Channel.
