Took 92.3 off my preset NYC radio stations.

I don't have a radio with presets in my car and I have the XM in there anyway, but today I was in one of our shop trucks, and I was hitting the presets radio buttons looking for something to listen to.

I realized I still had 92.3 in there. Why? Back when Hoo Hoo was still around KROCK still had music on after him so it was worth checking the station in the afternoon. But now it's all pathetic talk.

So I shifted all my stations down and put some other station up in the 106's in there for now. It may not last.

The end of an era. 92.3 was always that local station that played shit sometimes but you could catch a Metallica or Linkin Park song now and then. Now it's Free FM, and it's fucking gone.

Oh believe me, a portable XM unit is on my list of things I'm constantly pricing on Ebay. That way I can take it with me in any car, even work trucks.

A great little side benefit of getting my dad an XM is when I'm in his car, I now have Ron and Fez, O&A and all that music and content.
