Instead of the suspicion of the federal government expressed by Ronald "The government is the problem" Reagan, *they now believe without reservation anything the government tells them or does,*they have unreservedly embraced the largest deficit spending by any president in history, and don't mind that no one says where the money will come from to pay it back (not to mention their abandonment of their call for a balanced budget ammendment),*they have embraced a liberal, Wilsonian "make the world safe for democracy" foreign policy,*they have abandoned the "core value" of self-sufficiency and embraced the idea of massive government handouts to the able-bodied (such as in the farm bill),*they have abandoned their "core value" of less federal government intrusion into our private lives and into local and state government, and want the government spying on us unchecked, and rather than be for abolishing the Dept. of Education, now favor it's intrusion into local school systems with No Child Left Behind,*they have forsaken their "core value" of being for a smaller federal government and have loudly cheered on the massive increase in the federal bureacracy by the Bush administration. And after all that they still think they are "consrvative."

Well "Serpent and the Rainbow" WAS Based on a true story...but we now know where that leads...What about "Iceman" with that pretty boy from the 80's Tim Hutton? If I wanted to hear you moan, I would've Fucked You!
