Just got to Japan

We got to Iwakuni Japan last night.  I haven't had the chance to leave our base yet, but so far so good.  We can see the town, looks pretty cool.  There's some big casino type thing in our view, all lit up like vegas and everything.  We have to wait to get a brief from NCIS soon.  Supposedly there's some Yakuza out in town here.  If you fuck with them they'll definitely fuck with you back.  One thing they were explaining to us is how in Japan segregation is still legal.  They were telling us how if we try getting into a bar and they say no, walk away.  Non Japanese aren't allowed in and if you fight it the cops will haul you away. I'll post some updates when I can.  Too bad my digital camera is broken, otherwise I'd post pics.

The jet lag IS as bad as they say.  I never really understood the concept until now. I get tired at like 3pm.
