<p>i saved a dogs life last night, and well now i have him in my basement. i think he' s a shitzu, not a puppy but still young. i myself would&nbsp;keep him but one of my bulldogs hates him so i can't. i found a no kill animal shelter in flushing willing to take him but i figured i'd give it a week to see if i can actually find a home for him myself. i live in queens and&nbsp;i would be more than willing to bring the dog to you, if you live in brooklyn, queens, or li.&nbsp;&nbsp;PM me, IM me, Email me, i dont care&nbsp;just let me know if you know help. thanks.</p><p>i feel like monty in 25th hour &quot;the best thing i ever did in my life&nbsp;was save that dogs life.&quot; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

well, while we're at it - I might as well...

I am looking for someone to temporarily house my dog for me (3-6 months). I can't really have her in my apt at the moment (rather not get into the story), moving out is not an option, and I refuse to give her up permanently. She's older (9), mellow indoors (but will bark at strangers who knock on the door/come in), gets along with most other dogs and completely housebroken (as in if she needs to, she can be left home alone for 12 hours). She's my ice and rock climbing buddy and she likes being outdoors but pretty much most of all just loves doing whatever I am.

If anyone is interested or knows anyone that might be (maybe someone considering getting a dog but not sure?) please please let me know. I'm getting pretty desperate.

thanks everyone but i just found a home for him today. a friend of a friend from an old job of mine is taking him. i gave my number just incase there were any problems. but again thanks for your guys help and interest.
