I hated those broadcast commercials of the players holding the trophy because I don't like the idea of a player going for the championship and touching the trophy before they win it.  It just pisses me off.

The XM commercial volume levels are as loud as television commercials.  The volume transition from the show to a commercial is so dramatic I have to quickly scramble for the volume.

The guy made a lot of good points - not all of which I agreed with at all - but it is very, very tough for an American who is also Muslim, especially if they remotely "look" like one. My oldest friend in the world is a Muslim whose father and brother both worked in the White House for Bush Sr., and yet since 9/11 she has found herself being defensive and frightened over the ugly gang mentality that rose up in this country. She was actually the person who called me as the shit was going down, because she knew where I worked and lived, - just crying and upset about seeing the attacks live on CNN. Didnt' even dawn on her at the time of the immediate backlash that would happen.

This whole bit is painful to listen to. The end of Jen perhaps, but someone needs to convey that Jen never "Stole" Fez's email address and that Jen didn't "change" Fez's email address. She signed up for an account for Fake Fez, but she did something that most people dont do (probably becasue she's a dolt): she used his REAL address to create the account. So he had full control over the Myspace account at all times since he had the email acocunt used to create it. Sure it's wrong for her to set it up at all. But come on, it's just painful to listen to Fez rant about Jenn changing his email address from AOl to Myspace, hearing him think that's what happened when that wasn't the case.

Weird that this situation came up with Jen and Fez. Just a few minutes prior to her being on, I got an odd e-mail from MySpace telling me that my new account is ready. It was directed to a guy named Peter, but my e-mail was the login name. So I do a search for this account and just keep refreshing the screen as this Peter guy creates the page. Apparently he was a Spiderman fan as all his pics were of Spiderman, so with the name Peter, I guess he was acting as if he were Peter Parker. 
So I'm watching this page being made. Since he used my e-mail address, I had the password, so after a few minutes, I logged in with his name and password and then deleted the account.

Hey Dan, It sounds like you just deleted someone's website that accidentally
entered your email address. The addresses are
most likely very similar. I have a great mistaken identity story
if anyone actually cares to hear it (almost got fired and arrested!).

up to me.  Maybe the error in the address was in the domain
name.  Maybe he thought he copyied and pasted his email and
highlighted yours while browsing some other site that you post
on.  Far fetched, but there are a million possibilities.  He
may have just put in a fake email address to remain anonymous thinking
no one would get the email.  In any case it doesn't seem like
using your specific email identity would provide any benefit to this
person. No matter what the reasoning, I would have changed the password and content just to mess with the person.

Between an adoring management, meal worms, the double shifts, the inbreds, Pizza Hut's New York "style" pizzas, gun shot holes in the station glass, Terps Radio, interns who kill deer by hand, Vienna's fine dining, the twenty minutes of commercials, the plethora of handicapped people willing to go on the radio or stand awkwardly in the studio, the conveniently located 7-11s, the untrained producers, the forbidding of mentioning of other radio shows, the spacious studios, the local traffic, Redskins Radio and the employee discount at OReilly.com, I find it impossible to believe they don't miss their time in Northern Virginia. =Wow that really is a perfect description of the WJFK days. I made it down a few times, so I have a bit of nostalgia about the place, I liked it, I guess coz I didn't have to be there all the time. The Caddyshack movie night and the remotes at the game place I cant remember the name of now were awesome, I thought. We had R+F, dubs, jefe, perry, jafter, and the rest. Good times for me; obviously now we know, not so good times for R+F, but that's radio. But deep down R+F seem at home in NYC. Theyve been elsewhere, but the WNEW days, going back to R+F dot com shows at night; that was some awesome stuff. =Did jen ever call back? I missed the last 15 mins.

Jen never called back. speaking of wjfk.... boy, remember when the great Wendell Hall split? I think it's safe to say Wendell saw the writing on the wall before anyone else. Wendell was an institution at that place. I thought he was nuts for leaving.  He obviously was one step ahead of everyone else. It sure seems like after he left, the whole place began to crumble.  Wonderboy leaving wjfk took a lot out of the Ron and Fez show as well IMO.  It was very cool to jump in the car and stop by and say hi and goof around with the same show we all listened to while they were in NYC. NOW, they were right down the street. And it rocked - for us. Not for them.  NY listeners were pissed.  Can ya blame em? I was never pissed that they left DC. 1 - Cuz I would still be able to hear them and that was more important than seeing them.  2- They do a better show when THEY feel comfortable. They never seemed "at home"  at wjfk.

Well, now I know what the phones "Blowing up" sounds like on the caller's end.You don't get hung up on, but suddenly you stop hearing the show and that's it.  I stayed on the phone for a short time to see if it was just something they were doing or if that's what happens when they patch you in now, but I got hung up on.Another problem that won't get addressed for both shows it seems.  How can 2 shows that depend heavily on calls during certian bits be left with a phone system like that?  Get your shit together XM.

After listening to that interview from today, While it would be fun to shit,piss,burn,throw acid,shoot,stab,beat,run over with a steam roller,shoot out of a cannon,drop in a volcano,strangle,drag behind a bus,drown, those things wont work.The bikers have the right idea, just drown them out. The cameras need to be turned off when ever they show up and we just ignore them.

The under-the-breath comments were hilarious, and they basically just let her go. Whenever you have a lunatic on the air it's pure gold.

i felt they were kind of on their heels. maybe it was upper management not wanting them to cause a stir with some religious group and then have them parked outside XM with their signs and protests. Ronnie handled it okay. It was a bit strange no callers got through, accidental or intentional i'm not convinced either way. It was kind of a quagmire because on one hand you had a 'religious nut' combined with a 'mother of eleven children' and actually holding one of her young children on the phone during the interview. Did they really want to take calls from people who were gonna start bashing her?

I was VERY upset about not getting through on the phones, but I was on hold when they blew up, so I believe them.  It still sucked, but it's happens everyday so we can't blame the boys.The interview got so much rage started up in me.  I HAD to call in.  I am now aware of this woman and I will do all I can to help the gay community and draw children away from God.  Well, I already do that, so I'll do more.

i really enjoy the slightly more serious guests and interviews such as the Frey and Vaughn shows. Ron does an excellent job and the rest of the crew do really well with it. i really felt this lady had Ron on his heels and held more control over the interview/call. but maybe that's how it should have went, you really weren't gonna be able to reason with the woman and you're really serving your own purpose by just letting her do most of the talking and revealing how much out of whack she really is...

I guess everynight in opie & anthony's "office" they have this big plasma TV and they have boxes hooked up to all the TV's to record shows at night. They recorded the Grammy's last night so they could talk about them today. Earl and his staff were in their office last night doing production for today's ron & fez show and somehow Earl screwed up, he changed the channel on the main TV which screwed up their recording so they did not end up getting any of the audio they needed. So basically Earl screwed up part of their day.
