Disney sells ABC radio

billion deal on the same day it showed an increase in first-quarter
earnings.</p><p>ABC
Radio, which includes 22 radio stations and the ABC Radio Networks,
will merge with Las Vegas' Citadel Broadcasting Corp., forming Citadel
Communications, which will be the third-largest radio group in the U.S.</p>

Well, I think its a good thing. So many people have been complaining about how everybody seems to be working for about 3 ot 4 companies. Now WABC will be working for someone else. Cant hurt, may even open things up for some new shows. <br />

BDC, what the hell are you talking about?&nbsp; They consolidated and it will cost jobs not make more.&nbsp; Your point doesn't make sense, the opposite will happen.&nbsp; The amount of stations/media in one town/city a company can own doesn't seem to matter any longer.&nbsp; And that's not a good thing people.

So, a question for the DC area posters, How is this sale going to affect the ABC radio stations here in DC? just curious, even though I hardly listen to free radio except from 3-7 for DON & MIKE.
