<p>I've seen a few of you from the DC area talk about this guy, he looks interesting.&nbsp; I think he's probably the horror equivalent of our Uncle Floyd in the area.&nbsp; Kinda campy, kinda lame at times but part of the area's culture.&nbsp; </p><p>Even thought he's not appearing on a show I like in the least I'd like to see if people have sites where his stuff is available to be viewed.&nbsp; Did he have a show?&nbsp; Was he the host of a video show or something?</p>

As the kids host Captain 20 he was one for almost 20 years. He did his late night movie show (as Count Gore) for 15 years in the 70s and 80s, and made an occasional appearance on television since then (New Years Eve 1999/2000 was his last tv appearance). The long standing rumor is that &quot;Count Floyd&quot; on SCTV was based on him, but it's not confirmed. He actually does a NEW weekly &quot;television&quot; show on the internet that is available both streaming and as a video podcast, although Mikeyboy told me last week he had trouble with the new one podcasting right (haven't checked mine). <p>look&nbsp;boys and girls Im flying right? nm. nobody will get that. </p><p>I think every city has<em> that</em> guy who hosts the cartoon hour - or the horror movies. Not so much anymore. R&amp;F did a show about those kinda guys. One of funniest images come to mind when Ron said it would be like if WJFK threw a fire hat on wendell and pushed him in front of a camera and he became wendell the fireman. Even funnier, Wendell at one point DID become a firefighter. </p><p>Ok, nobody knows wtf im talking about. It was one of those &quot;under the radar&quot; moments. </p>

<p>I remember that show, Perry. What bugged me was, it was my first ever attempt at calling into the show. I wanted to tell them about the Captain 20/Gore De Vol connection, and the call screener said they had someone on hold already, to say the same thing. I can't remember what the caller said, but he fucked up the whole thing.</p><p>And yes... I get the &quot;I'm flying&quot; thing. Spielberg and Lucas had <em>NOTHING </em>on him!</p>
