Gretzky's Wife Cited In Gambling Ring

Wayne Gretzky's friend and assistant coach Rick Tocchet has been charged with running an illegal gambling ring along with a New Jersey State Trooper. Apparently, Gretzky's wife placed bets through them.

If the Great One gets implicated it'll be even bigger than the Pete Rose debacle.

She looked hurt-even knocked out, and later said she had a mild concussion.&nbsp; They stopped the game for a few mintes.. Wayne skated over, didn't even drop his stick or leave the ice to look at Janet closely! He did a sort of drive-by from the ice (like rubbernecking at a roadside&nbsp;accident ) and kept playing some fine hockey as she was rushed to the hospital!&nbsp; </p><p>Ha!</p><p>Nowadays, BB players watching so closely,&nbsp;they're leaping into the stands to defend their women.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

Well they weren't betting on hockey per se...which is the good news...

Bad news is this involves at least 12 people close to or involved with NHL clubs, including one owner....

And this was all tied up with the Bruno/Scarfo outfit...
