I really miss wrestling managers. There were so many great ones in the old WWWF:
The Grand Wizard
Captain Lou Albano
Freddie Blassie
Mr. Fuji
and others. This "running out from the lockerroom stuff when the ref aint looking stuff" sucks.

There were some great times with the managers there like Jimmy "the Mouth of the South" Hart, Bobby Heenan and plenty more. but i think the days of male managers is over. Unless your a Trish or Stacy Keebler type, you will not be manager. Maybe this will change again with in the next few years

Bill Alfonso in ECW was great also.

Managers were great, and they were almost always heels. Remember when Piper first came to the WWF in '84 he was managing "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff and "DR. D" David Schulz.
