Inspired by a post by Sheepy yesterday, I decided to declare today, March 2nd, Rex Manning Day.I predict that on this day:- Google will attempt to take over ronfez.net and convert it into one of a series of cookie cutter radio fansites.- new mod ADF, with the best of intentions, will gamble away all the ronfez.net money made on google ads and t-shirts in Vegas in an attempt to raise enough money to thwart the Google takeover.- JustJon will debate whether or not to turn ADF into the cops and will play drums really load in the staff room.- East Side Dave, since he has become a big-time radio star, will hold an autograph signing at ronfez.net.  Mostly old women will show up.- ShelleBink will proposition her girlhood crush, East Side Dave, but will realize that it was Snoogans she loved all along.  Snoogans will take a swing at East Side Dave, but will get the shit beat out of him.- Tall_James, in a fit of overwhelming teen angst, will shave his head.- ADF will catch SatCam attempting to shoplift Obey Fez stickers and will turn him over to the police.  SatCam will return later with a gun, but no one will get shot.  Also, even though it isn't his name, everyone will call him "Warren".- ronfez.net will be saved when they decide to throw a big party to raise money to thwart the Google takeover.- Slutty Whistlepig will get over her fears and will sing lead with Unhallowed as they play on the roof of the ronfez.net building during the party.- Spoon and Sheepy will hang out and eat pot brownies.Happy Rex Manning Day!

I wouldn't argue that it's a "good" movie I would


It's a great movie in the day in the life style of the early 90s
that reflects the day in the life John Hughes movies with great dialog
and a simple plot with so many characters you just feel like your apart
of them
and by the end when the credits roll you get a little misty eyed
because you
don't want it to end
Now im so going to watch my Special Editon Empire Records Dvd as
soon as Ron and Fez are over then blast my Empire Records soundtrack Cd
till Smallville starts

Empire Records rocked, I really loved that movie it's one of those movies you never get tired of watching. I loved all the characters on there. let's not forget that was pre-oscar renee zwellweger who played the slut having sex with Rex Manning on Rex Manning day. That shitty little movie sure has a lot of traction around here. I always thought it had a very Tower Records feel about it.

after checking IMDB I can say AHHHA!

The movie was written by a former employee of Tower Records store #166 (Christown Mall) in Phoenix, Arizona. When the film was released and for a long time afterward, a number of her former coworkers still working cited anecdotes and other elements of the film that related to the store. This store closed in early 2005, ten years after the film's release

I worked at the Tower in Nanuet so it kind of seemed somewhat familiar
