<p>Police have to take bomb threats seriously, no matter how rediculous
they seem.&nbsp; I don't think this guy should go to jail.&nbsp; But he
should be fined to pay for the time the police spent out there.&nbsp;
Minus the cost of his bike of course.<br />

<p>You're completely blowing this out of porportion.&nbsp; The problem
is not buying or owning the sticker.&nbsp; Labeling something a bomb
and leaving it in front of a building, that is the problem.&nbsp; And
the guy should be held responsible for that.<br />

Ok, there really IS no bomb, and it was just a fucking joke. But what if it wasnt? The university, and the cops, would have to take the threat seriously and investigate it. </p><p>And yes, they would attempt to track down the caller and prosecute him/her. Bomb or not.</p><p>We dont take kindly to being made fun of or to waste our time.</p>
