From dcrtv -  Morning man Elliot Segal was yanked off DC101's airwaves for a few minutes Monday "as he was apparently preparing to rip into fellow Clear Channel talker Tony Kornheiser," who is heard on WTEM. Prompting charges of Clear Channel censorship. So reports Dan Caterinicchia in the <a href="http://www.washingtontimes.com/business/20060307-092818-1644r.htm" target="_new">DC Times</a>. The two radio personalities have been engaged in a somewhat light-hearted feud for several years. Also, the Times confirms that Washington Post sports columnist Kornheiser will be leaving WTEM before September to prepare for his first season as a "Monday Night Football" analyst.....

I have never been an Elliot fan, but I do like that he has thrown a lot of support behind the Capitals and hockey in general - a team and a sport that are (at best) ignored by the local media and (at worst - like on the Junkies) ridiculed. 2nd worst laugh on radio, behind Patrice.

I've heard this show maybe a grand total of 3 times, and each time was progressively worse, mainly because of what Curtoid said...the host's goddamn jackal-like laugh.  Add to that it sounds like there's about 8 people yelling things across the room and it couldn't sound more like ye olde "wacky" zoo crew crap.  And the TV commercials for the show make zero sense, and somehow manage to actually be ANTI-funny.  Boo to them.

Ive NEVER heard of this guy until I heard THE HIDEOUT talking about him. He DOES help SOUL ASYLUM out quite a bit (not sure of the connection there) In fact - on the same day as the soul asylum show at 9:30 - they are playing at 7:30AM on his show live from Lulus in DC ( DC 101 - Kegs & Eggs) 3/17/06Can't bash a guy I've never heard OR helping SA.

It is pretty much the typical "morning zoo crew" show , but it might actually be a better version of it compared to some of the others.He also fits Strongbad's first rule of radio: look nothing like how you sound.
