first let me say - nothing this fucked up country does would surprise me at this point - having said that, who knows? We will never REALLY know wtf happend.  cherrynoid sent me a link tonight of a really good 9-11 documentary. It runs about an hour - maybe you've seen it. All Im asking is that you watch the first 5 minutes. If you dont like it OR find it interesting - turn it off. I've heard theories to that effect, but I've never watched this video.  I'll have to take a peek.  I'm not sure if people actually don't believe what they see or just won't allow themselves to believe we'd do something like that.  I personally don't believe we did that to ourselves though.

i watched that video a few months ago, and it really didn't connect ... they threw out a lot of theories, pointed a lot of fingers but they never really back up their factsthe towers' theory didn't really connect, and showing the same scene over and over again didn't clarify things ... and i really don't know what to make of the pentagon businessi do believe the flight in pennsylvania was shot down, i remember hearing that briefly on 9/11 ... but i don't necessarily buy the importance of the flight listi also believe that buiding 7 was brought down pre-emptively or as a precaution, there might have been things in the building that they didn't want compromisedthat documentary was very shallow, and baseless with a view much like some loud boastful twit at the the bar

There was a book out in the 80's called The Lincoln Conspiracy. That was in 1865. It just never ends.

I saw the video. It did nothing to convince me the government was involved. You can throw out anything and make it sound like it's truth. It just doesn't work for me in this case. Then again, maybe I have to much faith in American roots.

Saw the video today. I realize I may come off sounding nutty, but merely based on the absence of alot of pertinent information I feel like the government was in someway involved in all of this. I'm not saying they necessarily carried out the attacks, but in my opinion there were things going on the public simply doesn't know about. There is not really any reason not to make all of the  Pentagon footage public, and the idea that they didn't do it because it is an American plane and it creates a negative image is absurd. I think that the American public generally recognizes the fact that these were our planes, and don't need an image of it to have the full effect sink in.  Overall the documentary did seem pretty amateurish, I have to agree with others here that the kid's voice was pretty comical, but it still brought up alot of questions which simply havn't been answered. I was pretty intrigues by it until the the entire theory of the government stealing people's voices and making fake phone calls to their relatives, that just seemed a bit too out there.

Like it or not, that video brings up a hell of a lot of unanswered questions.Especially all those news reports and witnesses about the secondary explosions at the WTC.The firemen witnesses... that is some scary stuff.  Many felt there were bombs in those buildings.As for the Pentagon - seriously - why not release the security camera footage?

I started to watch this video,  After a little while, I turned it off. I remember taking an editing class a few years ago. They gave everyone the same raw footage of kids playing with toys.  The assignment was to make two videos; one making it look the toys were great fun and the kids were enjoying themselves, the other was to make it look like the toys didn't work and the kids were having a miserable time.It was quite easy to pick, choose, and manipulate the footage to suit your case.  Adding a voice over and/or music was also quite effective.  Thoughtful use of slow motion would also help quite a bit. My point is...if you WANT to make a case for or against something, it's very easy to do.  Show what you want. Don't show what you don't want.  Focus.This "documentary" is definitive proof of that.

Did 9/11 expose serious flaws in our intelligence and defense and foreign policy programs?  Yes.Was it an intricate and complex conspiracy staged to allow the Patriot Act/Iraq war/various nefarious acts?  I highly doubt it.Think about on it a very basic level...think about how many people and how much money and resources would have to be involved.  Now realize that NOTHING has shown up to back this idea up.  Not a single person or shred of evidence...and no, people saying, "well, I THINK that looks like..." doesn't count.  I'm talking ANY kind of actual proof, admissable in a court of law as convicting evidence.  Where is it?  Thousands of people would have HAD to have been involved on hundreds of levels.  NOBODY has let anything slip, on purpose or by accident?  GOVERNMENT WORKERS haven't revealed anything?  The guys who can't decide to squeal on their bosses or fuck up and blow an entire operation quicker?  Right.Secondly, look who is in charge right now.  Look at the administration.  Not just Bush...look at everyone around him and who he has appointed.  Are they evil bastards?  Yup.  Did they happily take advantage of the social and political climate created by 9/11?  Oh, hell yes!  But did they ORCHESTRATE 9/11?  Or, more accurately, COULD they have orchestrated 9/11?  Think about it.  Think who you're accusing.  Think of all the dumb shit they've been busted on.  Think of all the other conspiracies that other standing administrations were caught on...conspiracies that involved infinitely less people, planning and intricate plots.  And yet, people think THIS administration could have gotten away scot free with faking something like 9/11?Think about it.
