<p>I have no doubt that in real life East Side Dave is a decent guy, possibly even likable. The problem is that what people are in real life has nothing to do with there ability to be funny on the air.</p><p>When Dave first started showing up on the show he struck me as an interesting attraction to a much bigger event. Dave&nbsp;was like the reptile display at any large zoo. You didn't mind checking it out for a few seconds but it has a way of giving you the weirdos.&nbsp;His initial presence on the show was much like that of the&nbsp;Champ. He served as an oddity that everyone laughed at, but never with. He is the ultimate &quot;I don't get the bit guy,&quot; as he&nbsp;is a complete joke that seems to have no self awareness.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Fast forward to&nbsp;now. Almost daily&nbsp;that giggling boob stumbles onto one of the mics, regurgitates some half truth that he thinks is deep, and then starts buffooning himself ad naseum. If that's not bad enough, there are the occasional times when that orange glowing rube&nbsp;goes into yet another tedious story of his relationship. A relationship that is&nbsp;so awful it comes off sounding like&nbsp;the first draft of the movie&nbsp;&quot;Eating Raoul,&quot; read by a half wit.&nbsp;Dave bombs so bad I&nbsp;feel sorry for him in the same way I felt sorry for Clint Eastwood in Bronco Billy. &nbsp;</p><p>I certainly don't wish that anything happens to Dave, as some here are saying, &nbsp;so he would not be able to do the show. If he was to be hit by a bus on the way to work I would&nbsp;find it as funny as the next guy,&nbsp;but I certainly wouldn't wish it to happen beforehand.</p><p>Dave if your reading this, I wish you the&nbsp;best and hope things are going well for you. &nbsp;</p>

I could care less if Eastside Dave was Evil Knievel in real life, the fact is whenever he is on the show it's painful and not funny.
