Story: <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4815912.stm">http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4815912.stm</a>US evangelicals warn Republicans At a news conference in Washington, some of America's most influential conservative leaders said the current perception among evangelical Christians was that the Republican majority was not doing enough for them. And while this was not quite a call to arms, it will cause concern in Republican circles in the run-up to the mid-terms. What exactly is the concern here?  Who are these Yahoos going to vote for if they don't vote Republican?  I say fine; let 'em stay home on election day.

In 1992 enough Fiscal Conservative Republicans were unhappy with Bush Sr. that they voted for Ross Perot, putting Clinton into the White House In 2000 enough Liberal Democrats were unhappy with the choice in Gore that they voted for Ralph Nader, essentially putting Bush Jr. into the White House.In 2008 if the GOP officially backs a McCain-like Republican, I would not be surprised to see a VERY Conservative Christian run on a 3rd party ticket, and in a close election that may be enough to guarentee a Democrat in the White House. - maybe another Clinton.

Good. Fuck 'em. Let 'em go form their own party; I suggest calling it the "Big Red Asshole Party". Or, on the other hand, and I would be more in favor of this, those Conservatives who are about real Conservative ideology, not this Religious Right, wacko, fundamentalist Christian bullshit go to the next convention and Teddy Roosevelt that sonofabitch fuckin' Bull Moose style.

The religious right put W in the White House.  There are so many of them that the Republicans can't ignore them.  After all, who's gonna vote against Jesus?

At this point, I'm so fet up with everyone I'm ready to vote for Jessica Simpson if she said she'd lower spending and get the government out of our lives.  All sides are for bigger government it seems and if I don't see a good canidate I might just opt out and stay home.
