<p>Jack White from the White Stripes has a new project band called The Racounters, I just heard their first track from their forthcoming album Broken Boy Soldiers titled &quot;Steady as She Goes&quot; and the song is <br />great. good tune.&nbsp; i heard E-Lo on O&amp;A today saying they(the raconteurs)&nbsp;are gonna do some kind of one off gig with opie and anthony and&nbsp;a few select people. i'm in.

<p>Well, it's Jack's band WITH Brendan Benson, and in my opinion his albums are even better than the Stripes' stuff.&nbsp; But yeah, I really like the songs that have come out so far for these guys...it's rare when a spin-off/&quot;supergroup&quot; band doesn't suck, but here's hoping.</p>

I am getting the feeling that it really is <strong>Jack&nbsp;AND Brendan's</strong> band. Just a gut feeling, but my gut is usually right!
