My hooptie bit the dust on 95. I was shopping for a new hooptie when my boss suggested I get a scooter instead. I live in Florida a place where it is mostly always sunny but the public transportation sux. Should I buy a new Scooter or another old hooptie?

Motorcycles seem like too much of a commitment. There's like a whole lifestyle thing about motorcycles. I just am looking at some cheap reliable transportation

The average top speed I'm seeing for a Vespa is about 58->65 mph. Something you might want to consider if you're ever going to have to go on a highway sometime.

And, you said it seldom rains, but, are you willing to drive this scooter in the rain, or arrange some other means of transportation when it does rain? It will rain.

EDIT: Mostly sunny, not seldom rains. Same difference ;)

The sexual ambiguity of scooters or even the out and out gaeity of scooter ownership doesn't phase me. I know what I like. I mean alot of gay stuff is cool. Like clogs. Chefs wear clogs and most of them are dawgs. I think riding a scooter for a guy like me is alot like a chef wearing clogs. It just fits into my lifestyle.
