What convinced a born again Christian to do a pseudo- Heavy Metal album???</font></strong></p><span class="post_edited">This message was edited by bobogolem on 3-30-06 @ 11:58 PM</span> <p>I picked this one up out of a cut-out bin for about $2 just for curiosity sake.&nbsp; It's Pat Boone doing big band arrangements of heavy metal songs -- his version of &quot;Crazy Train&quot; was the inspiration for the opening theme for &quot;The Osbournes&quot;.&nbsp; The best thing about&nbsp;the CD&nbsp;is the liner notes.&nbsp; Everybody seems to have been in on the joke <em>except </em>Pat Boone.&nbsp; If you believe what you read, he seemed to be earnestly trying to bring what he considered to be great metal songs (brought to him by his band)&nbsp;to an audience that wouldn't otherwise give them a chance.</p>
