<p>I just posted a reply to a thread in "Entertainment" <a title="Here's the topic" href="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/viewmessages.cfm/TOPIC/49517/FORUM/80/page/why_is_a_chuck_norris_cartoon_on_cartoon_network.h tm" target="_blank">here</a>. I edited the quote from a previous post to remove the smilely, and added a graphic and a link. When I posted, all that came up was the previous quote, WITH the smilely.</p><p>Anybody have any idea what I might have done wrong?</p>

It is a recent problem, I always used to be able to quote w/ impunity!</font></strong> </p><p><img height="160" src="http://www.paratype.com/pictures/help/term/281.gif" width="160" border="0" /></p><p><strong><font color="#000099">Copy the text of the quote, put it in quotes using the posting tools, then write yer post! That's what i hafta do!</font></strong></p>

It's a board glitch. It's being worked on.
<p>Try posting using Apple's "Safari" browser. You type your
response, everything seems fine, and when you hit "post message" it
just clears everything. </p><p>Annoying as sin. </p>

<p>i think when you quote/reply you have to be below the line at the bottom of the 'popup/reply' window? i had the same problem early on but haven't had it happen to me since i made a point of having the cursor below the bottom line...</p><p>i think i was previously adding my text above that bottom line and into the actual quote area...</p><p>? not exactly sure that's it but it may be worth a try</p>
