If he gets life, he doesn't get what he deserves, and if he gets death he gets what he wants.

It's a lose-lose situation.

its a small glimmer of justice in an otherwise dismal tragedy.
I heard the US bungled his trial, and some lawyer will appeal it. In a strange way, even though I have every hope that this guy dies and all terrorits die, these guys see death as a doorway to martyrdom. Maybe he will suffer longer if he is forced into an uncomfortable jail cell doing things that he doesnt want to do and cannot escape from, having to hear other prisoners curse him out and want to beat the piss out of him. Its a shame we cant legally torture some people, but Id like to see a guy like this forced to eat pork and hear Christian masses and listen to polka music and share a cell with a rotation of people with an infectuous flu virus that effects the bowels.

I don't know how easy it would be for his lawyers to get a retrial. There never was a trial, because he plead guilty. They could appeal for a resentencing, though.

what a phoney trial

dude makes up things and then people wanna kill him

if he stayed silly funny joke guy like he always was then it would be fine

but there aint no news in a gilligan

and he was dead before the trial started thats why it's a Virginain jury not a NY jury like it should be

if he gets put to death then every officer who handled him before 911 should go to jail

on
there say he could of prevented things then everyone who was involved
in taking him in and interviewing him and everything is responible but
since he didnt know anything he's not

Why is everyone so willing to believe everything this jerkoff confesses to?

He seems like a complete 'tard...now he and the shoe bomber were going to hijack a plane? Right.

I'm not saying he's not an ass...but come on, what has he got to lose? It's obvious he wants to make as big a scene as possible in all this...of course he's going to cop to the most sensational things possible.

Someone should've killed him back when they found him... would've saved us a lot of money.

And now we wait for the appeals?
