just peeped this on pwinsider. Although details
are still sketchy at this time, PWInsider.com has learned that World
Wrestling Entertainment has suspended Randy Orton for 60 days. I'm not
yet sure of the reason, but I hope to have more on this story later
today. 5:40 PM Update:
WWE issued a text message via their mobile service confirming the
story, citing that Orton had been suspended for "unprofessional
conduct."
It should be
interesting to see what WWE does at tonight's Smackdown taping as Orton
had been advertised in the main event, challenging WWE World champion
Rey Mysterio  now 60 days is kind of steep. i know in the past randy has had some heat for shitting in one of the diva search girls bags (so fucking lame to do by the way)  but what could he have done? hes a fairly young dude, i think 23 or 24 it was wrestlemania weekend, way too much partying?or i think its not unprofessional conduct. 60 days was one of the suspension periods listed under their health and wellness policy last month. could he have tested dirty?

wasnt only steroids, it was an all around drug policy, except marajuana, go figure. cant say drugs then not include pot. personal politics aside but its still classified a drug. oh well. my bet, is he piss tested high for steroids three weeks ago (or something else) that was his baseline, he was retested over the mania weekend, and his numbers didnt show a great enough change and he was suspended. http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/22092481 this is probably why..  14. PENALTIES FOR POSITIVE DRUG TESTS

Compared to people like Batista and Chris Masters, Orton doesn't look like he's on the juice at all. My guess would be his attitude and backstage antics we've all heard about in the past as the reason for this suspension.

well listening to this here hotline on pwinsider, they said its NOT something to do with drugs, just his attitude. its been building for quite sometime and finally came to a boiling point. they also said when wrestlers failed drug tests in the past, they made them work tv tapings but didnt pay them, and kept them off house shows during that time, as well as held back their cuts of merch sales, until the suspension was over. probably whats going down now.

posted a statement attributed to Randy Orton tonight, noting that he
was suspended for not following the type of conduct that WWE wants from
its performers. The statement did not delve further into the situation.
As noted
yesterday on the PWInsider.com Elite section, the suspension came about
due to WWE's unhappiness with Orton's attitude and demeanor and it was
a situation that had grown over time as opposed to a singular incident.
Rumors that the suspension were related to any recent drug testing from
the WWE Wellness program were shot down by sources within the company. Orton is expected to make several more appearances on Smackdown and will then begin serving his 60 days suspension.

In the past few years, he had been fined often, usually for $5,000 per offense. Despite the fines, he'd often joke about them. The fines have largely been a result of his treatment of women, both in and out of the company. Also, he's used rude, abrasive language to people who didn't deserve it, not to mention that he's displayed antisocial behavior. WWE may want Orton to undergo counseling, to get to the root of his social issues. He may even have to get medical help, if it is necessary. Johnny Ace was said to be fed up with Orton's rude behavior, as it was said to be getting out of hand. Orton's always displayed erratic behavior, however, it started to really get out of control at the start of the year. Also, the fines weren't sending a message to him. The decision to suspend him was based on an incident that took place at the 3/28 Smackdown tapings in Kansas City, at the Kemper Arena. Orton flagrantly violated a very public company policy. It was a lot more serious than your typical dress code issue, and it had nothing to do with either creative or economic issues. Apparently, whatever he did, was the final straw. Whatever he did, has been done before in the past as a form of protest, however, nobody was so brazen to do it inside of a building with plenty of people potentially witnessing it, including people not employed by the company who happened to be in the building at the time. Orton was informed of the WWE's decision to suspend him after Wrestlemania. Nobody went against Johnny Ace's decision to suspend him, including friends of Orton, who would normally not side with Johnny Ace. Although, these same people were surprised that WWE made the news of his suspension so public. Orton's future in World Wrestling Entertainment will be decided upon in the next few weeks. It is likely that Johnny Ace and Vince McMahon will be discussing Orton's future in the WWE this week, and they may make some sort of decision. Cena hasn't been done to death yet.  We've already seen HHH v. Orton before, but a new feud between the two with the role alignments reversed could be fresh.

i hate that they put orton on raw. like smackdown didnt need him, i scoped it last week to see taz challenge lawler, and ended up skipping right to that part because it SUCKED! only reason they probably put him on raw is so his buddy HHH can keep him in line. but, i still marked out for his run in on Angle this past monday.
