<p>bottom line:&nbsp; corporations have to continue to show 'improved' profits regardless of how much profit you made before.</p><p>you can make 10 billion for the same quarter the previous year and if you only made 9.5 billion the same&nbsp;quarter this year then they 'post a loss' and the share price goes down....</p><p>poor shareholders</p>
