New METAL Cartoon this August!

<p><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7t3qKLVaDk&search=death%20clock" target="_blank">You Tube link to commercial</a></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Seems there's a new cartoon coming to Cartoon Network this August and it will follow at Metal band around.&nbsp; Here is the little info I could find off Cartoon Network's &quot;Pressroom&quot; page:</p><p><font size="2"><em><strong>Death Clock Metalocalypse</strong>:&nbsp; Dethklok is a Norwegian heavy metal band.&nbsp; They are incredibly talented and insanely popular.&nbsp; But Nathan Explosion, William &ldquo;Murderface,&rdquo; Skwisgaar Swigelf, Toki Wartooth and Pickles are also stupid&hellip; dangerously stupid.&nbsp; No matter what they do, be it playing sold-out festival gigs or going to the grocery store, Dethklok leaves a path of destruction and murder behind.&nbsp; The series Death Clock Metalocalypse will debut in August.&nbsp; Brendon Small, known as for his role as Brendon Small on the Adult Swim series Home Movies, and Tommy Blacha are co-creators and executive producers.&nbsp; Mark Hamill joins Small and Blacha on the voice cast.&nbsp; James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett of Metallica make guest appearances.&nbsp; Blacha and Small also write and perform Dethklok&rsquo;s extensive oeuvre of heavy metal music for the show.&nbsp; The series is being produced at Titmouse, Inc. in Los Angeles.&nbsp; Twenty episodes have been ordered.</em></font><font size="2">&nbsp; </font><br /></p><p>And that's what has me worried.&nbsp; I like that a Metal band is being featured on the cartoon, but if they're just going to depict them as bumbling assholes all day, I'm gonna be pissed.&nbsp; I don't mind jokes but I don't want to see a Metal band made a fool of every fucking night.</p>

Instead, the show should be filled with shower scenes in which the protagonist grooms himself with sensual oils and lotions that smell like a fresh spring day.

That show looks good. A lot of the new shows look good. Lucy, Duaghter of the Devil and that show with the ass sniper seems good. The pilot for Lucy was hysterical. And Venture Brothers return soon, Robot Chicken is back with new episodes, Adult Swim is looking good again.<br />

Not interested in that one. However, Death Clock and the one that looks like a post-apocalyptic conan the barbarian look good.
