The fight was a "loser leaves the show" match, with the stipulation

never be allowed to appear on the air with Ron and Fez again. The fight
took place outdoors in a makeshift ring on a rainy night next to Hooters on 56th street in midtown Manhattan. The match was fought thunderdome style where "two men enter, one man leaves!" With no judges, the fight would go on until one man quit or was knocked out.

That was a crazy show because I think it went 7 or so rounds, and for a while it seemed as if dukes might take it. I miss Al on the show a lot. I really liked him as an on air producer. I have no clue how he was behind the scenes, but on air he was great. earl grinds the show to a halt where al could go with a bit much better

'can't think of the name' I though Al was great. He has a confidence about him on-air and he always seems to be in control and never tries to force the funny... although it was great when he was 'drunk out of control

He was spitting it all over the place. We wound up trying to restrain him and get him to eat it, finally ended up duct taping his hands and feel but he kept spitting it out, so finally as soon as it got in his mouth, I think Wonderboy was in charge of getting the tape over his mouth so he couldn't spit it out. It was hysterical he was dying, he hated it.

at this point Al is rolling around the studio floor, looking like a bondage scene and Rob Halford from Judas Priest walks by with Eddie Trunk who were doing something somewhere else. rob Halford, stops sees this, the guys I think wave him here and hes "like what have we got here, I was in the wrong studio"...or something to that effect....and Al is yelling thru the duct tape.."I'll sue"...I'll sue"

it was a priceless moment on the air. c'mon what are the odds that a gay heavy metal god would be decked out in all his black leather and walk by and see our own Al Dukes tied up in Bondage, attracting Rob Halfords attention

unreal

Ron actually mentioned that show a week or so ago. He was saying how Halford thought he'd been given the gift of a tied up dude.
