A couple of season pass holder I know said that a cable on the gondola at Mountain Creek snapped and dropped a bunch of them to the ground. Anyone know anything about this, I can't find a story anywhere
It was the people's fault, they didnt use breaks and just didnt care. I fucked up arms up a couple times, dried blood was all over the track. So they kept getting higher and higher insurance rates and had to close

A few rides were closed and dismantled due to costly settlements and
rising insurance premiums in the 1990s, and at last the park's
attendance begun to suffer as the recession
early in that decade helped force it into a downward spiral similar to
that once offered on some of its own rides. GAR was finally forced into
bankruptcy in 1995, and Action Park closed for good on September 2, 1996.

Wikipedia entry

And people have died in Action Park, but the number is statistically insignificant.
