I am in search of a good sneaker/shoe/boot that would be easy on my feets at work. I'm on my feet for at least 6 hours a night and I have yet to find something that my feet can snuggle into. My heels hurt more than anything but after a while it's agony to stand anymore. I need help for the sake of my footies.

Edit- I should say I am mostly in one spot the whole night.

I think you might want to look into the shoes that postal workers and others who are on their feets all day use. Here is a good example...

Rocky Postal Plain Toe Chukka Boots (For Women)

Comfort for those who work on their feet with these classic plain toe chukka boots from Rocky.Padded collar Breathable liningLightweight lug solePolishable leather uppers.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009OANVI/104-6671425-3925556?n=1036592

If your standing in one spot, you need a slight heel. I used to stand on a sheet of plywood, because it would act as a buffer between the cold concrete, and have a slight give to it. If its a shipping dock, sooner or later a skid will come in with a piece on it, ask a driver to keep an eye out for one. Or, you can ask the supervisor of you can get a anti-fatigue mat for you. For boots, look for ones with lots of toe room and toe caps or steel toes if you need them, but I do not believe in the safety of a steel toe boot, because of something heavy enough would fall on it, the steel toe would cut your toes off. But its good if stuff isnt too heavy falling, so its up to you. I see lots of guys with the Timberland Pro series :
 Or else Wolverine Durashocks :

But I find that Wolverines are tight in the toe.

For sneakers I like Asics Gels and also Addidas. Merrils are comfortable, they look shoey but feel sneakery.

Here is a site that has a link to Cabelas that has a LOT of boot types and great descriptions. A good idea might also be to look for a boot type that is designed on a womans last for proper fit.
Timberland Pro link.

Here are some of the Red Wings women's line. You can find more on the rest of the site. I have always found that, while expensive, Red Wings are the most comfortable work shoe/ boot.

when I was a carpenter, I wore Redwing work boots. Now as a PM I wear Redwing hiking boots, skechers hiking boots, both gel insoles. they make them insulated and non, the insulated feels like you are walking thick shag carpet, AHHHH, but make your feet stink like rotten ball sweat in the summer.
