Anybody remember this show .......

I think it was called " The Tales Of The Golden Monkey ".
It was an Indiana Jones rip-off and I think it was set in the 40's. They used to get into all kindsa of hijinks. I think the dude that plays the father in " 7th Heaven " was the star and possibly Ernest Borgnine was the sidekick.
The lead character was like an old WWII pilot or something and wore a " Flying Tigers " bomber jacket or something.
Anybody have any memories of this or is it something I made up ??
