O.K. I have no idea how this move by O&A is going to effect Ron and Fez, However we all can speculate, and Please the crazier the better.Scenerio 1: O&A after a couple of months gets the same deal for Ron and Fez however there needs to be an "accident" to after drive show the "Radio Chick" for Ron and Fez to do afternoon drive in NYC.What have all you got?

The boys change the direction of the show and start researching internet porn sites.  They rename the show "Ron and Fez . SEX".  Black Earl goes to work for the freefm segments of o+a,  and is replaced by Lil Jimmy Norton, who's given a golden shower - er ticket - when his l.a. gig bombs and Opie wont let him back on the show.They boys bring back the comedy pyramid, but call it a comedy basement, and it's purpose is to show how far a bit can be driven into the ground by callers.After all this, Fezzie wakes up back in his bed, surrounded by Ron, Opie and Anthony - the past couple of years have been a dream and he says "and you were there, and you too..."now back to your regular programming.

Fuck the speculating!!!!When the Buddays started at XM, it was the first I ever heard of them. Now I try (not too successfully I might add) to arrange my morning schedule so I can listen, 'cause now my day just ain't fuckin' normal unless I get my R&F fix.I want Ron and Fez in the evening time slot, I'm guessing 7-11pm eastern. That time would be perfect for the west coasters like me!!!!

Just speculation but how about this. O & A working drive time in the morning from 6 to 9 simulcast on cbs and xm with cbs editing/delaying adding commercials as they see fit. Then O & A doing 9 to 11 on just XM. 11 to 3 on XM going to our buddays Ron & Fez, and then O & A doing the afternoon drive in the east coast for a couple of hours ? Probably not going to happen but they certainly would be pioneers if they did both morning and evening drive times.

Actually, Moe, at this point in time they are still doing a switch, whether it be at 11, 12 or later, due to the fact that O&A are still doing the uncensored/afterhours show exclusively on XM.

Also, if they chooise to do the whole morning setup from just one studio, it would have to be XM's, because when their CBS/Free-FM show is done, they gotta get out for the other shows coming in.

Well I've done the math and unless R&F get their own channel out of this deal it looks like nothing is going to change.  Since O&A are going live at 6am at CBS and XM and staying on XM until 11am that leaves R&F in the same ole 11-2 slot.  This way the replays will sinc up with the live shows. The only difference is no more "worst of" for O&A fans.  I say we demand a R&F channel and then we will get the fourth hour and more replays.

Since O&A are going to CBS I think every one on the R&F show will be promoted.  R&F will take over High Voltage with Black Earl and Dave doing the midday slot, the show will be called "Black and White".  Bronx Johnny will exec produce for R&F and E&D will have Roburto as their exec.

I want Ron and Fez in the evening time slot, I'm guessing 7-11pm eastern. That time would be perfect for the west coasters like me!!!!I loved when they were on from 7 to 11. Call me crazy but there was something magical about listening to Ron and Fez at night, it was even cooler during the Ron and Fez.com days and they were on late night. To me they have always felt like a laid back nightime show, although I do enjoy them at anytime of the day.

i'm not really sure if i want them to go back to regular radio.  i like the show with the few breaks they take now.  however if that is the only way to get them back on nights i would have to take it. if they do go to nights on free fm, what will happen to the xm show, and the conflict with the O&A west coast drive slot?

to love R&F.  It'd suck to lose them.  I got XM for

I've been a Sirius subscriber for a couple years, so I'll still have my commercial free fix. 
I only got XM for R&F.

I've had Sirius since Nov. 2004. I only got it cause they had an offer for a free radio with a 1 year subscription. I'm sure if XM offered the same deal I would've chosen them. 
My XM subscription is online only, so I don't get the baseball games. Even though baseball is my favorite sport it's not enough for me to buy a radio so I can listen to a game. 
Honestly, I only listen to XM for 3 hours a day. It's strictly for R&F and nothing more.

Near the end of today's XM O&A show, a caller stated that Allen Sniffen of the NY Radio Message Board is speculating that Ron & Fez will end up doing the Free FM late night show. Opie's reply was simply "Yes."Sniffen posted way back in March that he was hearing rumors of O&A taking over the David Lee Roth/Howard Stern slot. What the hell is happening to our 202?

Jake and Jackie are gone from Free-FM, according to Jake Fogelnest and Radio Dentist. Which means that there's a 6-hour hole in Free-FM's evening line up. So if R&F get six hours, are they still being disrespected?

selfish and take an hour and a half discussions with no censoring over
18 minute word play.Seriously, it is very early to speculate on
this, but I really want a minimum of 3 hours of XM content to
continued.  If the show is censored for regular radio in any
amount I will be disappointed.The XM show is so perfect, I don't want regular radio fucking it up.

I always thought the more pissed he was, the funnier it was. It was really entertaining. And I don't see why he'd be pissed. He wasn't pissed at any censoring, as far as I could tell. It was all the bullshit with redskins radio. Which I don't think is the same deal anymore. And I at least in part blame the 'Skins. They oversell them so much here, but I guess only because people are so devoted to them.

I am calling bullshit on DCRTV on this. What would CBS's motivation be for moving Don & Mike from a day part where they have traditionally done very well. Not to mention that it seems odd that WJFK would try to move even heavier into the "hot talk" format and do so without Don & Mike.I could see them putting Opie & Anthony on live and then sliding the Junkies back to late morning/early afternoon shift. I think there is a better chance that the meeting with CBS execs is to incorporate Don & Mike into the national FreeFM format. But that is pure BS speculation.I suppose I am biased because I hold absolutely no stock in anything DCRTV ever says.How this affects the buddays I do not know.
