NYRMB is reporting (speculation?) that Booker is Leaving K-Rock so that old and comfortable 7-11 pm slot may be open again. may be to good to be true......

Nah it won't happen because O&A aren't for anyone but themselves, it'll all be rotten for Ron and Fez and they will never get anything. O&A fucking suck, They just promise promise promise, but they've been leading the boys and us down the primrose path and it's really bullshit!!! I base this on one day so I must be right! I mean it's not like Ron and Fez went to XM voluntarily, it's not like the two shows truly are friendly, it's not like there's real chemistry between them all. This could single handedly be the absolute worst move in the history of radio. Heck, I'm cancelling my subscription to XM! Hmmm it really does feel good to be negative!!!

I am sick of Opie promising "big things" for Ron and Fez and then giving them the shaft. I'm not even gonna get exciting about this until I hear Ron and Fez in a better time slot. Opie really is all about himself (and yes today I am angry typing guy).

btw...complaining about ronfez.net on wackbag last year wasn't being negative?It sure was. I was feeling quite negative that people looked at Ron and Fez's move to XM as such an awful thing. I am a naturally optimistic person so I was thinking to the positive. I guess that's a bad trait but that's me. If Ron and Fez were so upset by everything that has gone on, their timeslot etc, don't you think they would go back to terrestrial radio? Last I recall they had a pretty respectable show. I would think they could make it somewhere on the radio. Fact is, they have a pretty good gig on XM. I can tell when shows I listen to are happy. Ron and Fez sound pretty happy to me. Heck I even listen to Howards show and he sounds like he's having a blast at Sirius, he sounds like he's having the most fun in years. Ron and Fez sound like they love the freedom to say what they want. I'm not talking about them not complaining because that isn't their style, but rather the tone they speak on the air sounds like they're enjoying their time. Like you I hope they get a 4th hour as well and I wish there were more replays, but I'm willing to wait and see how things pan out.

S4S blew up that growth, though.Also, what's your cite of "this is a temporary timeslot"?  Outside of Opie's vague "we have big plans for R&F" statement? I don't remember anyone - O&A, R&F, etc. etc. say anything about it being a temporary slot.  I'll cop to "big plans", but never "temporary timeslot".Also, I have said MULTIPLE times in these speculation threads that NOBODY knows what's going on except for O&A, R&F, and the XM BigWigs.

i kinda liked booker's show even though it was kinda frat show radio, but obviously i want ron and fez in that slot as soon as possible. I'm not so sure if Booker leaving isn't at least partially because O and A were coming to the station. I mean they didn't force him out, but maybe he just wanted to pre-empt getting fucked over. Now he's gonna be head-to-head with O and A in Philly and probably get crushed if the guys are as popular as they say they are. Bring on the Ron and Fez, i sure as don't want to hear Free Rock! oh and jake and jackie are now having a little write-in/call-in campaign of their own. Maybe they're not as untouchable as Jake thought. Of course i'm still not sure if they're even cancelled, or if they're unofficial site is jerking people around, or if their unofficial site is just dumb and know one knows what is going on. As far as them going to 7-11, i don't think it'll happen because jackie's got legit comedy stuff to do. I think she's said she likes the time slot because it allows her to come in from UCB every night. I don't think their show is good at 7 anyway, its much more of a geeky overnight show.
