<p>so for the last week i've tried to find a bottle of mini thins to no avail. they've all been replaced in the displays by fucking ephadra free garbage slacker shit.&nbsp; wind up getting gas in the ghetto today a notice at the counter, hand written, &quot;due to federal law, you must give a licnese and submit paper work.&quot;&nbsp; </p><p>granted, it's an ingedient for meth and was banned a few years ago, by hysteria, and found it's way back in very quietly, but what the fuck!!!&nbsp; why am i being put on a FEDERAL FUCKING LIST for bying a box?&nbsp; a-single-fucking-box??? what, am i going to make a bump of meth?&nbsp; it would be more time efficient to make a phone call...</p><p>i'm just trying to grasp the efficieny of this policy- federal at most.&nbsp; apparently the tony montana of crank is going to jump from gas station to gas station, buying a pack at the time to take over upstate ny!&nbsp; yet the young professional douches are blowing giant rails.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>i will state my only intent for finding the product is b/c ***No drug cocktail combos, please*** when waking up is 1000000x better and has less side effects than even coffee (no knotted stomach,&nbsp; my shits, no headaches) and you really don't have to fuck w/ the dosage.&nbsp; <br /></p><br />

<p>The whole ephedrine thing really pisses me off (even though I hate using the stuff). They banned it in diet supplements, but not in baby medicine! The stuff wasn't banned because it's dangerous. It was banned because it's dangerous when athletes abuse it. Ephedrine wasn't killing people on diets or people trying to wake up. </p><p>Everything is dangerous if you take too much of it. But if it kills a few professional athletes that use it in a way it wasn't meant for... Better Congress involved! Make a law! Remove the scourge!!!! Oh... but leave it in baby medicine.</p>

I'm still confused about something. Why would the purchase of ephedrine get you on a federal list? It's not what people use to make meth (from what I understand). they're doing the same thing now with the sudafed or whatever pill thats another meth ingredient.&nbsp; basically they're taking down everyones info to see who's making high quantity purchases of these ingredients, enough to make meth.&nbsp; what that amount is to get someone investigating, i dont know.&nbsp; should there be a limit on how many you can buy at a store? yeah that'd probably be a good idea.&nbsp; all this info taking is kinda drastic though, just another element of the times we live in.<br />

<p>I'm pretty sure ephedra was banned by the FDA, you can't get it in any supplements anymore.</p><p>Pseduoephedrine, the decongestant ingredient in a lot of sinus medicines, at least in NJ, there is a new law where they take down your name and license #.&nbsp; I saw it happen to a lady who must have been at least 60 at CVS.&nbsp; And yes, it's because its easy to cook it down to only include the pseduoephedrine and make meth.&nbsp; Don't ever buy acetone nail polish remover and sinus meds at the same time, I'd be suprised if they didn't call the cops.&nbsp; I'm not a big fan of law enforcement taking down people's names for buying ANYTHING legal.&nbsp;</p>
