<a href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12517580/" target="_blank">Some California drivers are purposely running out of gas on the freeways to get free gas.</a>I really had the same reaction to this as when I hear the disgustings things addicts will do for drugs. They re only giving you one gallon! YOU'RE ONLY SAVING 3 FREAKING DOLLARS!!!!!!!! <a href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12517580/" target="_blank"></a>

If it was the behavior of addicts, this is what you'd hear:it is not a problem, I can stop anytime I wantOK, I'll cut back, I'll tell em I only need a half a gallon a day...OK will that satisfy youOh yeah and if I dont, how do I get to work and feed the family and give you all the nice things you have, it's a part of my job damn itnow leave me alone, I'll start filling the tank up tomorrow, I swear....OK now kids go to bed, daddy didn't mean to hurt mommy and he loves all of you very much Mommy just pushes daddy too far sometime and.....I need more gas...goodbyeDoesnt that sound like any of those movie of the weeksoutline for the next A & E movie of the week"Petrol, the hidden family disease"  You know what, I post too much damn funny ideas on here that could be great on the radio somewhere.  I should thing of doing this for a living. this could have worked into a funny comedy period.  all the excuses we used for getting drunk, use with free gas.....and not only alcoholics havew lied about drinking...OKanyone else...or is it me, I'm the shining Star, no matter who you are I'm the shining star  <img src="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/thumbup.gif" border="0" />

People are completely irrational when it comes to gas prices. How many times have you seen someone drive for miles and miles looking for a cheaper gas station, or going waaay out of their way to save 3 cents on a gallon. The gas they burned getting there is more than they saved. Also, the average person drives 10,000 miles a year, 200 miles a week. Average car gets 20 MPG. So they use 10 gallons a week. 10 gallons at 2.50 per gallon $2510 gallons at $3 per gallon $30People are flipping out, the economy is going to crash, Bush has to do something, Get Exxon! Pass a windfall profits tax! Relese the strategic oil reserves!    all over $5 a week. Less than a dollar a day.

Yes it is perhaps a dollar per day, but I would rather that dollar was in my pocket than some exxon executive's.If $1 per day doesn't seem like much, why don't you send half as much per day to me ? It all adds up.One way to save a little on gas is to pay for it with a Discover card. They pay 5% cash back on gas purchases (If you pay the bill in full every month) . At $3 per gallon you are saving 15 cents.

what car gets 20 MPG? why should I be helping the rich get richer when the decide collectivly to jack up the fuel prices? that few extra bucks now cant go to where it is really needed, like for my porn, or my beer, or battiers for my chicks new viberator.
