I bought this 2 days ago, the same day I bought the new Pearl Jam- I haven't had a chance to give it a listen because I am cramming the new PJ before I go to a couple shows...plan on checking it out tonight- any thoughts, reviews, other? I am guessing kickass- it is Tool...

10,ooo days is a great follow up for Tool. The CD gets better with each listen. Anyone else going to see them at The City Center in NYC?

Dude needs to do something as jaw-droppingly awesome as that first A Perfect Circle album again. Everything else has been pretty dorky, including everything else put out under the APC name.

The package, has probably the coolest intro ever. The Noose, The Outsider. Fuck man, those are great songs. I think I like thirteenth step a little better than mer de noms. The cover song album is not really my thing.

They sure are joining that number of bands that play in what used to be a rare, 'off sounding' time signature, 5/4 or 5/8, 'off' in that it's an uneven number of beats, and doesnt really resolve but just chugs ahead in it's five-ness.

Just read an article of how they used good old tape with this one often, dumping to Pro-Tools to work with but there are still bands out there that want/desire/prefer the sound.

If you play the last track, Vigniti Tres and then track 3 Wings for Marie back to back, and play them at the same time as track 4 10,000 days you will have yourself a whole new track. You will notice that if you take the track times of Vigniti Tres and Wings for Marie they add up to the same length as 10,000 days. It sounds good, if not worth the trouble.
