Here I am, miserable rainy day outside, working on the computer, listening to the Christy Jacobsen interview (Toots Shor docu), and loving it. Keep in mind I didn't know Toots Shorr from Dinah Shore before the interview, yet found it a fascinating conversation. Ron was well prepared, and asked interesting questions. It got me to thinking. How about having a specific thread with all of Ron's interviews? I know Rutgar Hauer's is available, but to have them all (i.e. Anthony Bourdain, all of the indie directors, etc.), would be fantastic. How about it?

Less interviews = more gooder.

I could not disagree with you more. Less interviews = more gooder.

Yeah, let's not have any substance on the show. Let's have 3 solid hours of East Side Dave pissing his bed and Black Earl having to hear racist comments from rednecks for Alabama. The most appealing and unique thing about this eclectic show is one minute you get Sidney Pollack and the next minute you get a puppet giving lame one liners, both radio gold, and something not just for the retards.

I argee Ron is a good interviewer. He is really quick on his feet and asks intelligent questions. For some reason he tends to shy away from comedy and his awsome one liners though. If he could find away to bring the comedy into the interviews I think it would make them that much better. Also why is Fez comlteley quiet during the interviews? He should really jump in and make it more of a conversational piece.

It's hard to be taken seriously when you sound like Fez, hence the silence.

First of all, there's about 30 million guys that sound like Fez. A significant number in the entertainment industry. You don't think they are taken seriously? The Fezmeister is no dummy, and I respect his intellect as musch as Mr. B's. I believe Mr. B is such a great fan of cinema, he relishes the opportunity even more than Fez to interact with these guests. As a result, we the listeners are the winners. I heard Fez interview some Rock singer or was it a wrestler? He held his own, but it did seem like he was reading his questions, as oppossed to speaking extemperaneously. With the opportunity to interview more people, Fez would become more confident.
