Police officers shot in front of police station

<p>What a day out here in toothless Chantilly.&nbsp;&nbsp; Less than a mile from my office some punk opened fire on a police substation in Chantilly today.&nbsp; All of the surrounding roads were closed down, helicopters are still flying around over head&nbsp; 8 hours after the attack.&nbsp;&nbsp; It feels like when the sniper was loose all over again.&nbsp; For those of you outside the DC area here is the story. </p><p><strong>CHANTILLY, Va. -- </strong>A teenage gunman opened fire outside a suburban Washington, D.C., police station Monday, killing one officer and wounding two others before he was shot and killed at the scene, authorities said.</p><p><a href="http://www.nbc4.com/news/9178513/detail.html">http://www.nbc4.com/news/9178513/detail.html</a></p>

<p>The killer's name&nbsp;(though not officially released by police) is Michael W. Kennedy. Friends say he had been getting into the whole &quot;Goth&quot; thing lately. The same kid had recently been released on 10K secured bond after a car jacking. They showed his yearbook pic on Channel 5 earlier today. He was&nbsp;a big fat white kid, who looks like someone who likes to shoot cops.</p><p>I'm glad they killed him. The cop he killed was a 40 year old female detective. One other cop is still in critical condition, I think. He opened fire on them during a shift change, so there were a lot of potential targets.</p>

GEEZ.&nbsp; The Gumshoe Gang needed to be called in.&nbsp; Glad they shot the li'l fat bastard too.</font></p>

As long as these&nbsp;disturbed teens keep having easy access to all of these fucking guns, shit like this is going to keep happenning. It's total bullshit all of these senseless violence that keeps happening. &nbsp;Someone needs to cut off&nbsp;their easy accesss to these damn guns. It's ridiculous. It's like Columbine never happenned. The guns are still getting in the hands of people that have no disregard for human life. </p>

place.&nbsp; Someone had just died and they were trying to figure out
if he had an accomplice still running around.&nbsp; But I did laugh
when the news lady kept trying to ask him questions after he hung up.<br />
